North Shore Roadway

Early plans for the North Shore Riverfront Park called for roads to hug the shoreline. Riverlife negotiated to revise the road system and provide more space along the river’s edge with a new two-acre green park space, called “The Great Lawn.” The Great Lawn is a broad expanse of flat, open space, rare along our sloped river banks, that accommodates large groups and casual year-round use with an unparalleled view of the skyline.
