Phase One: City Side Festival Grounds & Infrastructure

Restore and improve electrical, plumbing, irrigation and drainage systems
Add utility hook-ups for event vendors
Re-grade pedestrian pathways, crosswalks, curbs, and the Allegheny River Overlook ramp
Remove the old stage and install a new stage pad
Re-landscape and add signage, furniture and lighting
Interpret the Fort Pitt tracery to create a new festival ground.

Status: With funding in place, Riverlife and its primary project partners—PA Department of Conservation of Natural Resources, the Allegheny Conference for Community Development and the City of Pittsburgh—have completed the final design and will begin construction in August 2006.
